Welcome to my little place on the web.  I'm Kalvin Chapman and I'm a young gay law student.  I am currently doing the LPC at Northumbria Uni in Newcastle, which means I'm training to be a leech, I mean shark, I mean ambulance chaser, sorry solicitor.    I am well getting into using DREAMWEAVER now, so watch this space (I actually now bloody hate it ; how annoying and difficult can one piece of software be??)
Using the Nav bar at the top of the page you'll be able to find my Journals, which go back to September 2000, and are in 8 different pages (click here for the index, or HERE for the current one, or choose from the drop bar which one you want).  There's my photo's, in five gallery's, the NEW one will be added to as time goes by, so keep watching.

There's also some damn fine pictures and a little biog on WILL YOUNG, RIVER PHOENIX & SCOTT NEAL.  If you don't know who they are (shame on you) have a read!!!

In the University pages you'll find my three dissertations, two written for the History of English Law; one is on John Amery, son of the Cabinet Minister Leopold Amery (And brother of Julian Amery, MP) who was hanged for Treason in 1945.  The most interesting one is on the Gay Purges of the 1950's, which looks at the trials of Lord Edward Montagu, Peter Wildeblood, Robert Croft Cooke and Michael Pitt Rivers.

There's a dissertation looking at the modern interpretation of the Bland decision, but, alas, does not include the very recent case of Burke v GMC, as the judgment has not been handed down at the time of writing (I will add something when the Court of Appeal give their judgment, unless it goes to the house of Lords).  There's also a little section about Re:A (Conjoined twins), including the case and a commentary by Mr Sharpe QC.  I ended up not doing any more work on the subject, so it's a bit of a crap section.
You can also find some stuff on Anna Anderson, who I believe (very firmly) was Grand Duchess Anastasia, the only survivor of the murder of the last Imperial Royal Family of Russia by the Bolshovicks.  Read the book that I recommend on that page.

Comments are good, whether they are good or negative.  If you have suggestions, please email me with them.
